Kale is no longer just a garnish ornament!

I don't feel bad for kale anymore...it has proven itself to be more than just a garnish or soup addition. I was watching Rachel Ray bake kale the other day and was not convinced something so simple and healthy could be as "delish" as she was claiming. After hearing someone else was talking about this food as a healthy dinner staple, I decided to try it and it was so good! I am all for healthy food! Here's the recipe! Happy cooking! It is even possible to give it a try with your little one! Peapod will be delivering some organic kale tomorrow morning!

Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
