STEP into the riding BOOT..AND TOMS!

I am so in love with the RIDING BOOTS this fall! Finally..a super stylish, comfortable and polished look for everyday. A mommy must have!

One of the best things about autumn is the variety in the choice of footwear. Suedes, leathers and earthy colors all make their presence felt in our wardrobes. And the most irresistible footwear trend for the fall is the boots. Wearing boots with the perfect outfit can be a simple task, and often results in a fine polished look. With all the styles of boots available today, several looks are obtainable for every style preference. Three current and very popular boot styles for this fall include the riding boot, the ankle boot and the knee length boot.
Riding boots
Riding boots: Riding boots are meant to be worn outside your pants so wearing the skinny versions of your pants is the way to go. And when you wear skinny at the bottom, it is best to add volume on top. Wearing riding boots outside the stable is now the new fashion statement. These shoes have become quite a rage because they are not just because they are easy on eyes, but also because they are absolutely comfortable to boot. This year’s hottest footwear trends, the riding boots are not meant to be worn only when in the stable!

Here is why:

One for One

Why Shoes
In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.

Why Shoes?

Many children in developing countries grow up barefoot. Whether at play, doing chores or going to school, these children are at risk:
•A leading cause of disease in developing countries is soil-transmitted diseases, which can penetrate the skin through bare feet. Wearing shoes can help prevent these diseases, and the long-term physical and cognitive harm they cause.
•Wearing shoes also prevents feet from getting cuts and sores. Not only are these injuries painful, they also are dangerous when wounds become infected.
•Many times children can't attend school barefoot because shoes are a required part of their uniform. If they don't have shoes, they don't go to school. If they don't receive an education, they don't have the opportunity to realize their potential. Read More
It seems TOMS Shoes, based in Los Angeles, are the new Uggs–both fashionable and comfy. Some of the brand’s celeb fans include Kristen StewartLiv TylerKeira KnightleyBonoBrad Pitt, and Scarlett Johansson. TOMS also has several Vegan styles that do not use any animal materials i.e. leather, etc. As if that wasn’t cool enough, for every pair sold, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for one. As a result, 87,000 children in need have received shoes so far.

  2. I love these boots Margaux! I need to get more skinny jeans though because I only have one pair to wear under my boots.

Are you riding at all anymore? I miss horses!
